Vancouver, British Columbia

The hockey poster at UBC

When we left the Norwegian Pearl in Seattle we drove north to Vancouver, British Columbia. We stayed at a campground in the suburb of Burnaby. The first day we took the sky train to the University of British Columbia Campus to visit with Nancy-Jane's cousin Iain and his family. He is working as an archeologist/anthropologist studying settlements of the First Nations. Our first stop with Iain, Nicole and fabulous Flora was the UBC Museum of Anthropology.
An interesting "live"exhibit.

Raven the trickster.

Nicole, Flora and kids at the reproduction of the village.

Iain showed us his lab.

Flora was enjoying her cousins!

We had a great meal out!

Our second day in Vancouver we drove to Stanley Park. It is an amazing part of Vancouver with an aquarium, totem pole park, carousel, and  a myriad of biking and running trails.
 The harbor from Stanley Park.

The totem pole display at Stanley Park.

We took a walk around the point in the harbor.

Vancouver was in hockey playoff mode...everyone was a Canucks fan.
